"To support our cotton we need to support the sustainability of the community providing it. We engage in sustainability initiatives within the community. Education, healthcare, investing in future, cultural preservation Chetco has worked for over two years with the renown Chetna Organic Agriculture Producers Company to develop an international supply-chain coalition of over 16 ethical textile and fashion brands and five best-practice production facilities. Working together across the supply chain, Chetco creates and implements community-driven, collaborative, sustainable business solutions to improve the livelihoods of Chetna's nearly 9,000 small-scale organic cotton farmers, and over 2,000 garment workers manufacturing our garments.
In 2015, ChetCo brands produced over 2 million organic cotton goods made from Chetna Organic Cotton and Fair Trade Cotton
Organic cotton. Our Restricted Substance List prohibits the use of dangerous chemicals in the manufacturing of our products.
