Founder Mia wanted to live her garden purpose life and create a space for everybody to thrive. That’s why she create a physical garden and community that behaves like a garden to offer the following values: supportive community, sustainable practices, and an abundant livelihood.
Good Neighbor Gardens is focused on building a community of neighbors feeding neighbors. They are cultivating conscious relationships between those who grow and distribute the harvest and those who provide the garden space. Creating edible gardens in the urban space and promoting regenerative agriculture is their driven purpose to make a positive impact. In addition, they are helping to making organic and local harvest accessible to all peoples by teaching people life skills, and building teams to work through the practice of growing food together. With their business, they also are subsidizing the cost of school garden maintenance by partnering with local elementary schools.
