The sustainability of raising animals on pasture is an even greater focus with the pioneering practice of 100% grass-fed dairy. Our Grass milk products use dairy from 100% grass-fed cows on farms where the right soil and environmental conditions allows farmers to feed cows only grass and dried forages throughout the year. Organic Valley Community Solar Partnership (OVCSP) is Organic Valley’s pioneering, money-saving partnership with the Upper Midwest Municipal Energy Group (UMMEG) and One Energy Renewables. Working with a local-first focus reduces “food miles” and keeps our supply chain tight and efficient. And by working with many different local bottling companies, real jobs get created and local economies get boosted. By partnering with The Conservation Fund, Organic Valley will offset an additional 1,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions while simultaneously protecting redwood and Douglas fir forests at the Fund’s Garcia River Forest in Northern California.
